Great place. Lovely food, and very welcoming. My local, and never had a bad meal. Thoroughly recommended!
Now this was just an fabulous little find! Such a great place! The rooms are comfy and super clean. The service was spectacular and so friendly. And the food was some of the best I have seen on my travels around U.K. with a lovely warm fire in the dining area. I will definitely come back any chance I get.
The menu was really vast, and all food generous portions, all well prepared and presented. I'm SO happy there are so many vegetation options!!! It's actually so rare to find so many options it's amazing! We've eaten here quite a few times now so I know they will also be incredible and with generous portions too. There's a specials board that is constantly changing with new dishes which is lovely too. The atmosphere here is so inviting too, a good traditional country pub with all the beams and massive fire to keep you toasty. The land lady and all the staff gave us 5 star service and couldn't do enough for us, always checking we had everything we needed. We come here a lot as I said so I can't recommend it enough :)

The room was great, clean and modern bathroom, looking newly fitted. Windows well insulated so no drafts or road noise. All staff new our room number without prompting, for charging to account, which was very impressive! The pub has a fabulous history, connected to the Cornish uprising, with old beams and a natural fire for chilly nights.Thank you all at The Greyhound!
You know it is good when you find it well used by the locals. Staff pleasant and helpful. Food good. Decor and ambience excellent. Eat inside or out (big garden with tables). Very pretty thatched building with beamed ceilings. What's not to like.
