Lovely relaxing place lodges overlooking the lake, an abundance of wildlife.

What a beautiful place , we stayed in a lodge by one of the lakes with a hot tub. Staff very friendly nothing to much trouble. Small bar and restaurant to eat in or takeaway, it is only open certain days though. Small selection of essential items for sale at reception if caught short. No wifi available on site. There are 3 lakes on the site so if you want to fish you can pay by the day or weekly only residents can fish so there is plenty of room to say the least. Nearest town is only a 10 min drive and has all the regular supermarkets for your needs and a 30 -40 mins to the beautiful coast. If you have dogs it is dog friendly as well. If you just want a peaceful place to chill out this is it.
Amazing last minute get away! Will come back as soon as we can get away from work. Perfect place to take your family with dogs.
Beautiful place.. so peaceful.. Lovely old cottage full of character with an aga!! (Would love one).. we had the gorgeous pool all to ourselves. Everything was clean and well maintained.. would love to visit again.
