What a little gem of history. Who thought you could stand on Canadian soil in Devon. Well worth the detour a few miles north of Honiton to learn of this bit of Canadian history. Free too.
Lovely chapel for small parties
Beautiful little chapel.
This small country church is owned by the Canadian Government and is the burial place of John Graves Simcoe. We found the place by accident and followed the Maple Leaf signs to this secluded building. A very peaceful place, with interesting artefacts and photographs.
