Excellent food and great service
Booked in advance for a New Years Eve curry supper. This was our first visit, so no expectations. The restaurant is quite small but was buzzing with diners when we arrived at 7:30pm. The decor is very simple and quite cafeteria-like; none of the more common Indian opulence. The service was good, despite the busy evening, and the food was excellent - bindi were fresh! Always a good sign. We had a wonderful last meal of the year. With take-aways also flying out the door, they had to turn customers away by 9:30 pm as theyd run out of food! We were very glad to have sampled this restaurant and will certainly return. Booking advised as seems popular.
Consistently good food over the May times I have visited and they are happy to surve meals not on the menu. Highly recommend.
Not sure if it really does taste of Gurkhas but it was delicious and reasonably priced.
Brilliant takeaway. Really tasty curry with plenty of interesting dishes that you don't find in your standard "curry shop".
