My partner and I went for lunch and the very friendly staff dealt with us quickly and efficiently, there were a variety of choices including vegetarian options for myself and the food was delicious. It was full of flavour and decoratively plated and after having desert we were both ready for a full and satisfied nap!! The coffee is also very good which is always a must for a coffee addict like myself. All in all a lovely time was had and we booked in for valentine's Day as well and we're very much looking forward to trying the special menu. Thank you!

Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. A few of us stopped in for lunch and two of us ordered a macaroni cheese. The macaroni was overcooked and was presented floating in a watery white sauce (like a macaroni soup!) with no sign of cheese or any seasoning. Very very weird given the good reviews for food. Perhaps there were problems in the kitchen or shortages of ingredients (cheese!?) but this should have been communicated and the item not offered. Selling this dish to customers for 8 quid is really unfair. The garlic bread was good and service from the young waitress was friendly.
Stopped in for a quick lunch and optimistically ordered macaroni cheese. What arrived was a bowl of overcooked macaroni in a soup of bland white sauce with no hint of cheese anywhere! Not a complicated meal to make well so I am not sure how they got it so wrong and so overpriced at 8! I can't comment on the standard of the other meals or the wine, the service was ok but I would not recommend it based on my experience.
The Honiton Wine Bar has very recently been taken over by a young couple and their family. We have eaten twice there in a week and have thouroughly enjoyed the food and the ambience.The staff are lovely. Friendly, helpful and professional.We would definitely recommend a visit.
